Dynamic Lighting problem on certain maps in Lost Mine of Phandelver

I know that the way freehand drawings work, there's a lot of lag on those maps. Is there a fix for that or something to update the Lost Mine of Phandelver adventure to correct it? Cragmaw Hideout is lagging horrible because of all the freehand dynamic lighting lines in it. Just the way it is? Or is there something I can do? Thanks.
UPDATE: it seems it lags worse with player tokens, NPC or PC, but not with the Goblin tokens nearly as much. Is there a reason why? For example, as a test, I placed Gundren's token in there, an NPC, and it lags really badly. But the Goblins...nope. I gave Gundren darkvision 30/0/has sight x2, so is that the issue? It seems as though there's something in the tokens that differ?
UPDATE #2: after some experimentation, 100% the issue is the darkvision multiplier in "Has Sight." Nothing else lags whatsoever, but when I give darkvision with a x2 multiplier, it lags really badly. I guess this may be a thing that can't be changed, but was just curious because my players with darkvision may get frustrated on this map. No other light source has issues, like my light emitting torch or light spell tokens. It's darkvision with a multiplier more than 1. In fact, I tried just x1, and it still lagged, but not nearly as badly as x2.
UPDATE #3: OK, wow, so this has been a fun experiment. I saw that Cragmaw Hideout has Adv. Fog of War enabled with Dim Light Reveals checked. I turned off the AFoW altogether, and darkvision works 100% lag-free. The issue is Adv. Fog of War on that map, for sure. LOL I guess there's just too much going on with adv fog of war + dynamic lighting + darkvision. I eliminated AFoW, and all is well with my darkvision-enabled tokens. :) Huzzah!

Just for clarity, in case anyone with similar issues comes across this thread, when you say "FoW" in your last post, you meant "AFoW"? I really wish these had two entirely different names.
Yes, sorry, I edited it and changed update 3 to be sure to note "adv" where applicable. Not sure if normal FoW would make a difference in the performance, but I don't use normal FoW for that map anyway since dynamic lighting handles the vision stuff better. Thanks Keith! keithcurtis said: Just for clarity, in case anyone with similar issues comes across this thread, when you say "FoW" in your last post, you meant "AFoW"? I tend to use DL and regular FoW. We have enough connection and general computer problems to deal with a game time. FoW has almost zero impact on performance.
I just wanted to say thanks, BG Noob, for the heads up on disabling AFoW. I was searching for "lag cragmaw hideout" because when I attempt to move a PC, it lags horribly. Turned it off, and we're all good. Thank you (hopefully this could be rectified in a patch?)

I was having this exact problem. Turning off advanced fog of war fixed EVERYTHING! Thank you so much!
