Operating System/Browser Mac OS X 10.9.2 Chrome 33.0.1750.152 Steps to reproduce Set streaming to voice only Issue Experienced If streaming with a webcam is disabled, the webcam light is still on showing that it's active.
Are you using the WebRTC or Flash video?

WebRTC through the TokBox Integration you guys have set up. I can see their little icon on my portrait.
When you disable the video, how exactly are you doing that? Did you go under the settings tab and choose "Nothing (Disable)" under both "I want to Broadcast to others:" and "I want to Receive from others:"?

To disable the video I did the following: Go to the settings tab Change I want to Broadcast to others: to Voice Only Change I want to Receive from others: to Video and Voice I didn't see a way to save and set this immediately, so once it was set I had to refresh the current window for the changes to take effect. It was after this step that I noticed the green light was still on on my webcam (retina macbook pro, mid 2012, gen 1).

I'll consult with the other mods and the devs and see what might be going on.
My guess is what's happening here is that WebRTC is capturing your video + audio locally (which is what causes the webcam light to come on), but is only sending your voice to other players. I'll get in touch with Tokbox and see if they have any thoughts about this, though.
