LFP D&D 5E Campaign. All experience levels welcome, roleplayers preferred!

Hello all! I’m an experienced DM looking players (ideally 4-5) for an upcoming D&D campaign. My availability is M-F after 3:30 Eastern Time, and at any point during the weekend. Looking to run as soon as possible with a setting either in the Forgotten Realms, or a vanilla fantasy setting which is equivalent. As far as character creation is concerned, I’d like to have a creation session or talk with you while you create the character just to ensure there won’t be any conflicts. All printed first-party sourcebooks are legal for character creation. Feel free to ask any questions you might have! I look forward to hearing from you.

I’d be interested in joining. I’m new to the site and fairly new to 5e, but I’ve read a lot of the books and am eager to learn. :)

I'd also be interested in joining. I haven't played D&D for a little bit (like a year, maybe longer) but I'd love to get back into it. Roleplaying is my favorite part of the game, as well, by the way!

Monday through Friday I'm good after noon CST as well, but once school starts up again, I'll be available after around 4 PM CST as I need to pick up my niece and nephew from the bus stop on those days. I’m pretty open. Best for me would probably be non-Tuesday weekdays. 

Interested! I’ve been playing for about a year and have a pretty good hold on how the general gameplay runs, but still working on some of the finer details and lore. I’ve also been roleplay writing for over a dozen years and love detailed backstories, world building, and character development. I currently play in a once a week, in person group but our schedule is all over the place, just whenever works for all of us. Otherwise I am available to play ANY day after noon MDT, or any time on weekends.

I'm a long-time player (and DM) , and i have a buddy that might also  be willing to play if the time is right. Sign me up for the creation meeting, we can hash out ideas there. Would this be done on discord?

How would everyone be for a character creation session around 6 o’clock Eastern on Wednesday? I’ll host through Roll20 at first just to have the board, and maybe switch to Discord for voice if there are any issues with R20.  @Brandon Since you’ll put us at 5, your friend is welcome to play if someone ever drops out of the game, but I’d rather not run for more than 5.

@Justin I appreciate the offer, but my friend and I are attempting to use a campaign to hang out more often (since my last campaign fell through), hahaha. I'll bow out and let another individual take my place. Thank you for the opportunity though. Perhaps another time?

Wednesday is good. What tier of play are you planning on running?

@Brandon I’ll be sure to let you know if spots open up for you both! I planned on starting at level one and working up from there. I may potentially start at level 3, though I’ve not decided.

If someone bows out, I would like to jump in please. I'm a noob to TTRPG, but I've been RPing in a literary fashion for twenty-four years since I was a kid. I've been perusing the D&D 5.0 rule book but am no expert at all. Weekends or later Friday night works best for me timeframe wise.

We’re doing character gen on a Wednesday (I’ll be busy Friday), but I think meeting on Friday for the actual game sessions should work out.  Since you make five, I suppose I’m done looking for players unless someone else has to leave the game.  Do Fridays work out for everyone for regular game sessions?

Fridays I don't get home until around 9pm EST. What time would we meet?

9pm on Fridays will typically be too late in the evening for me. I’ll try and set a time with those who can make it to character creation tomorrow that can work out for the majority of those who are interested. I’m trying to be as inclusive as possible with everyone who is interested!
