[LFG][PST/CST] Wanting to Play in a Mass Effect Game

Hey all, A friend and I were having major nostalgia for the Mass Effect lore and universe and we were wondering if there's anyone else out there interested in playing in or running a Mass Effect based game. System-wise we'd be open to most things, I've seen some really nice World game adaptations but I could see 5e and other things working just fine too (I'm an experienced tabletop player whereas my buddy is brand new). Both of us are more interested in a character and story focused game, we've both role-played quite a lot over the years. honestly I would be super interested in playing this and how it would turn out, am fairly new to TTRPGs but am a massive fan for Mass effect specially the Shepard trilogy like I have at least ran it from the start of character creation of mass effect 1 till the end of 3 including DLCs twice not even counting the times I made incomplete playthroughs for 2 and 3. and as someone who obviously wasn't impressed with how andromeda turned out I really would love taking part of a new mass effect adventure.

I played a year long campaign and we used " Mass Effect 5e " as our system. And I have to say it worked really well. Are you going to be the gm aka Galaxy master? When would it take place? During, before or after the trilogy?
