Can I make macros for my players?

Since I might not have players expert enough in macros I was wondering if I could just make the macros and give then the buttons just to click.
You can set up character sheets in the journal section, assign a token to it, put macros under abilities and set those as token macros that way every time they click on the token all the macro buttons will pop up.

Another option is setting up macros from the Settings Tab in the sidebar and checking off the option for them to be usable by your players. This technique is handy for macros that don't change much from character to character.
If you don't want to go the token macro route, you can create a macro intended for the players (or a subset of players) by adjusting the "Visible to Players" box in the macro creation window. That enables players to see the macros in their gear tab within Roll20. You may have to walk your players through marking the proper checkbox so that it appears in the bar at the bottom of the screen.
