Token Attribute Bars

July 11 (6 years ago)

I'm attempting to set my players tokens to display the HP bar, their AC and their PP when I click on their token.  For one player, when I go to edit their token settings, a drop down menu appears allowing me to select the respective attribute and it displays properly on the map.  However, my other 4 player tokens do not have the same drop down menu.  Is there some character setting that I need to turn on to display this or is there another work around so all my player tokens will display this information to me?

Are these set as drawings? Right click the token, and click Is Drawing, and see if the token settings pop up.

They are not drawings. I can still access the settings, the drop downs are just gone.  The one on the left is the only one I can change properly, the one on the right is an example of all the other tokens in the game.

Ah, I think I see the issue. The tokens aren't linked to a character. Click the Represents dropdown, and select the character, and save it.

Once you have the token setup how you want it, remember to reset the default token on the character. Any changes you make to tokens aren't automatically stored on the character.

Open the character, and edit it: delete the current default token and replace it with the edited one.

That worked!  Thanks for the help!
