So this is kind of strange game to advertise because I can't say much about it so as not to spoil anything. What I can say is that it'll be mini-campaign set in the early 80s where you'll be playing regular people who during the first session acquire superhuman abilities. The world will be very similar to our own, but slightly darker, more corrupt and twisted and I'm hoping the game will focus on your characters and their choices. How they choose to apply their new-found powers in such a world, that isn't accustomed to people with superhuman abilities... I understand that's not much to go on so I might have over-compensated in describing playstyle and preference so you can better judge if this is something that might interest you. You can read about it here My system of choice is GURPS, which I tend to run "under the hood", that is to say I rarely make reference to rules or numbers, unless I have to. It's a very modular system, meaning two different games run in gurps can very easily feel like very different game systems. While it can be a fairly crunchy system, the way I run it ends up mainly front loaded and doesn't take up much time during actual sessions. I don't really require anyone to be familiar with it. In fact one of my long time players still doesn't know the system very well and we've played together for a long time now. The reason that's possible is because the system is largely very "realistic" which means common sense and real life intuitions often track quite well with the system and I don't run combat like a board-game, anyway, so it's rare that lack of system mastery gets in the way of making smart choices.  Please check out the link above to see if this might be something that interests you.
