LFG-Clueless player looking for newb-friendly group

Hi! I've gained an interest in playing RPGs with people, but I've never done it in this format. The closest I've ever gotten is playing MMORPGs on my computer. Tabletop is completely new to me, but I'm more than willing to learn because it honestly looks like the most fun thing to do. I've been watching stuff on YouTube (e.g., Critical Role), which is how I decided that I wanted to try this for myself. If a group with a helpful DM would like to message me and see if I'd be a good fit, please feel free to do. Thanks, and have a good night!
It would be very helpful for you to list your time zone and the times you are available in that time zone and what days or nights you'd like to play because roll20 is a worldwide service. What specific rules set are you looking for such as 5th edition D&D or Pathfinder or just anything? What type of character roles would you like to portray?  Have you already decided? Fear-not! There are many dm willing to accommodate new players, the thing that the community really likes though is dungeon Master's, because the player to dungeon master ratio is about 15 or more to 1 or higher. Going with diligence and a positive attitude, you can certainly find a group or get some offers. Welcome to the community.
Violet, PM me if you interested.  I am running a game tomorrow night, 6 PM EST, and enjoy those new to Roll20 and TTRPG's.  My game is a D&D 5e game.
Shroud, you are absolutely right. I'll get on that right now.  -I'm in CDT/CST, so NA times are preferable.  -I'd like to start with D&D 5E and branch my way out. My understanding is that D&D is a good starting point for these things.  -I have a few options that I'd like to explore in terns of character. The two I've been considering the most are a wood elf druid and a bard of some kind.
