Adding Maps to a Custom Game

July 16 (5 years ago)

Hi, Not sure if this is the right place to post this, but here goes:

I've been running a game for some folks with several dungeons from the Tales From The Yawning Portal as well as a lot of custom home-brew. I ran Curse of Strahd a long while back and would love to introduce my players to the Amber Temple, so I bought that module from the Roll20 marketplace, but I don't seem to be able to add that content to the game we have now, but can only create a new game based on that module. Is there any way to pull specific aspects from CoS, or would we have to have "two" different games to be able to access that content?

Thanks

If you had a Pro subscription you could use Transmogrify to pull items from one module-campaign to the other.

Your other option is to build two games as you surmise, and use the character vault to move from one game to another. It is possible to copy a map manually using shift-z to preview the image and right click to download to your computer, and then upload it to your new game. But that's a pain, and it would count against your storage limits.
