New "Flip Token" Feature

Had an idea as I was making  a character with a werewolf theme. When they turn, they have the option to "flip" the token over, to show the werewolf icon or any other icon they choose! Applicable for tokens that like to wear cloaks or wear disguises and drop as they choose. Or have a "in combat" token vs "out of combat" token. Or have a plot twist and the npc guide is actually the villain and turns into an evil token! Magic item's token is reacting. That chest was actually a mimic! Much easier than the DM having to drag tokens in an out and just helps keep track what active effects or appearance that token has. EDIT: And players could have control as well if the GM allows on whatever tokens. What do you guys think?
Totally. In some cases more than one face may be preferred, like a Druid with multiple Wild shapes. Another use would be for standing or prone or you could change token for facing (like using sprite tokens) So many uses for multi-face tokens...
Terrific idea, now how to make it work.  That will take the programing genius of someone more skilled than I to both create and then have it usable in game.
This would have been useful for me last Friday. I just created 2 tokens 1 "unevolved" werewolf (little girl), 1 big furry teeth beastie tied to the same journal, then when the players were discussing whether she was or wasn't a werewolf, swopped the tokens manually. Clicking Change image would have been nicer! :-) Also, there are several boardgames where this could be used too.
Easy to make work, when you assign a token give it a spot for a sec icon, and a toggle button when the DM, or player, clicks on their token.
I agree with Dungeon Master, it should be relatively simple. Only complex part is managing the tokens "two faces"
+1 Great idea
Wonderful idea, so +1 on it.

So, DM--this is already possible?  I'd absolutely include this in my token pack art.  A "shapeshifter pack" would be awfully fun to do if all they need to do is add a second icon and "flip" when needed.  Is there a limit to the number of slots that a character can have--for instance, if I wanted a super hero that could change into seven things, I'd paint all seven and they could be "flipped" at will--or a shape changer with three forms--Human, Wolf-Man and Full Wolf, etc.? I'm on my phone, so I can't check right now...and I'm still new to the system--and I'll be creating token packs soon, so any info I can get on how they're played with will help me! /salute! \ Dungeon Master said: Easy to make work, when you assign a token give it a spot for a sec icon, and a toggle button when the DM, or player, clicks on their token.

Fred Lang, unfortunately, this is not currently possible.  - Gauss

Possible Workaround might be to have the two tokens in a stack. Assuming they were in roughly the same shape, you could either send one to the back. Or have the top one sent to the GM Overlay. If they were both the same shape, you could also "Group" the Tokens together when they're stacked on top of each other, so they both move at the same time.
+1 Makes it easier to handle an NPC who has an alias.
I tend to do this in live games, using tap washers with two printed images on each side; one for normal, another for bloodied. It's a method that's quiet common, and I was working with Maul J.'s method without even realising how useful this could be in many other cases. Defiantly a +1
+1 to the token "flip".
I wonder if the Devs like this idea.
+1 As already stated, there would be a number of uses for this feature.
This can already be done with cards, which have two faces, but it cannot be done with all tokens. Great Idea. +1
Can cards be edited and be used like tokens?

Peter P.: Yes, right click on the card, go to Advanced, and click on 'Is Drawing' to un-highlight it. It will now act like a token although it will still be attached to the deck so be careful you don't recall it accidentally. Recalling a 'token' card will cause it to lose all token properties.  - Gauss
Heh, the card deck idea is awesome for something that has two forms. I'll have to use that with my Pack Outcast Thief.
