Ate you looking for assistance in how to fill out a Roll20 character journal?
yes
One would probably have to have the PHB. If we are using the Character-mancer...the Roll20 PHB would have to be purchased by either the GM or the player. https://marketplace.roll20.net/browse/bundle/3828/players-handbook-bundle If you are just writing all that stuff in, then just making a blank sheet and filling in the blanks is sufficient.

There's two routes you can take: A) Wait to join a game, the GM will make a character journal available to you which you can then fill out. Use the LFG Search Tool to find games welcoming new players. Your GM will likely assist you in filling out your journal. This is the route I suggest, because many GMs have character creation rules specific to the campaign the GM wishes to run. B) Create a game, and I'm going to take a guess that you wish to play D&D 5th Edition so select the 5e OGL sheet by Roll20. Make some character journals; play around with filing them out and clicking buttons to make the dice roll and whatnot, store characters you like into your Character Vault to import to someone else's game. GMs may or may not accept your characters to their game, but this is a good way to get used to the Roll20 interface. If you have issues or questions, search the wiki or ask questions in the Specific Use Questions forum. Good luck!
