Hoard of the Dragon Queen Module

I am not able to load Hoard of the Dragon Queen into my existing game for my players. Is there something else I must do or will I have to start a whole new game?

Hoard of the Dragon Queen is a module. Modules must be installed when a game is created, as opposed to Addons, which can be installed into an existing game. The best option is to create a new game based on HotDQ, and invite your players into it. Modules give free All Access Character Vault , so you can use that to transfer the existing characters (and any important NPCs).
