The Next World Chapter One: TROPE It was a total set-up job. Fire breaks out in The Pony Up as punches, kicks, and broken chairs fly. Red Creek Rufus slumps over your table, a dagger in his back, and the map to the Dungeon of Gold & Glory snatched from his hands. Seconds later, Constable Shady and some of his lackeys turn up. Their speedy response time beggars belief and (whatdya know?) they settle on you as the source of this disturbance. The Pony Up's proprietor - a friend and former adventuring runepriest, Gliff Runesigil - shouts for help. Yet another clever heist by The Pathfinder's celebrated rogue, G. Golly Willikers, Esq. . And now he's racing out of town with his comrades on horseback to claim what should be rightfully yours. What do you do? _____________________________________________________________________ Saturday, April 12th, 2 pm Eastern. The group is full, but two players might have to drop from the game due to various issues, so I am looking for two players that could be ready to jump in and play! This is a D&D Next playtest adventure of my own creation. Some additional details and teasers can be found here. It promises to be a rollicking, lighthearted good time as we test the system together. It is very much a parody of the tropes and memes that we all love about D&D. Anyone signing up should have some proficiency with Roll20 plus at least basic macros. Experience with D&D Next is a plus, but not required. Google+ Hangout usage and a working microphone is required. This game will likely be broadcast On-Air via YouTube. Observers to the game are also welcome. You can make a post in the LFG listing if you're interested and would like an invitation. If you have questions, post them here so I don't have to answer the same questions repeatedly. If you'd like to read a bit more about The Next World and Trope, you can check out this link to the Wizards of the Coast forums where you can find some fun information and teasers. Will you be the next hero that can beat the Pathfinders at their game?
