[LFP][Discord] Cyberpunk Red Jumpstart

Looking for 4-5 players for Cyberpunk Red Jumpstart. My plan is to start out with one-shots to get used to the system before moving into longer storylines. I'm in US Central Time, and have pretty decent availability weekday evenings and weekends. I'm in grad school, so bi-weekly meetups will most likely be the best timing for me.
Hi, I'm interested.
Excellent! Once we get a couple more people, we can start talking schedules. I listed 4-5 players as ideal, but since I'll be running one-shots we should be able to work with 3 (at least to start out).
Interested too. Bi-weekly sessions would work ideal for my schedule too.
Just to add that I also purchased the Jumpstart kit but have not yet read it. If I'm too be part of this group I'll definitely not spoil myself by reading the adventure.
Nice! I'm still undecided on whether or not I'm going to do the included adventure. I'll most likely use the characters and settings from it, but develop my own story.
^ Thank Jeebus
I would be very interested. I have extensive setting and system knowledge for 2013 and 2020. I have purposefully distanced myself from 2077. Once the buzz stops I will take a look at it. I too am located CST and have decent availability in the evenings and Saturdays.
I'm very interested if you still have spots open.

There's absolutely still room! What do people's days look like on Saturday, August 24th? Would 7pm CT work for everyone? The world of Cyberpunk Red is really interesting. It's set after 2020 after a nuclear bomb took out the Arasaka building in Night City (turning the sky red). Combat has been simplified, but is still reminiscent of the FNFF system. The biggest change is to the NET. Instead of remotely entering the system and navigating a grid, you have to be on site at a terminal, jack in, and go through each layer of security. If you've played the card game Netrunner, it's more like doing a run on a corporate asset. And everyone can start thinking through what character they'd like to play.  These are ones available in the Jumpstart: Rockerboy, Fixer, Solo, Nomad, Netrunner, Tech Once the full game launches, the rest of the classic types (Cop, Corporate, Media, Med-Tech) will be options. The Jumpstart rules are supposed to be 2020 compatible, but I'll only use that if/when we want to add in new equipment and programs.
Also, do people have a preferred playstyle? Cyberpunk is going to, by it's nature, have firefights. When it comes to beating a big bad, do you prefer it ending with a hail of bullets, empty clips and smoking barrels, or splashing their face all over the news wire as they get carted off to jail?
And dm me your Discord username and I’ll add you to the server.
I'm not available on weekends. I was hoping to meet on weekdays. I'll keep an eye if there's a change in date. Thanks.
We can play around with date and time. Send me your info and we can organize on Discord.
Everyone should have received a message with the link to the Discord server. Let me know if it doesn't work.
ill join, my schedule is fairly open.
hello, I'm interested! I'm available on weekends. I've watched a short cyberpunk 2020 campaign and would love to participate in the updated version.
Has everyone gotten links to the Discord server? I’ve set them so they don’t expire, but only one person has joined and I’d like to start scheduling. I also understand that life happens and stuff comes up. Just super excited to get started. Once at at least three people have joined, we can start scheduling. Since I’m doing one-shots, and the Jumpstart doesn’t have a leveling system in place, we can mix and match players based on availability.
Neat idea.
I'd be very interested, however, unfortunately I can't make weekends on a regular basis. But maybe I'll join for a one shot if that's fine?
