Buggy login

Hey Guys, sorry 4 my english at first. Me and my wife have an issue with our accounts, when we login into a game, everything is loading. Cheets etc. The map stays black... it seems to be loaded, but its still black. Our GM tried everything to fix our issue (fog of war on/off) without succes. Other Players have no problems. I tryed to load the game from different devices and networks, PC, Notbook, ipad, nothing works... Maybe someone could help?? :( Thanks for your attention greetings from Germany

Hi Benni. Mods usually ask you to do the following but let's get you started so they can pick and ask for additional information if needed or pass along what you supply to the Devs Mods quoted: To rule out other potential issues and provide a baseline for assistance,  please have everyone that is having this issue carefully work through these steps of our guide to   Solving Technical Issues : Step 1: Make sure to use the right browser Please check if these issues persist when using  both  Chrome  and  Firefox. Step 2: Ensure that there are no extensions/addons interfering with Roll20 Please disable  all  add-ons/extensions. Step 3: Clear your cache If none of the above succeeds, please have them also thoroughly work through all of  Step 4  including the name of the campaign and Console Log.

It also sounds like the DM could have missed a token setting, so there is no sight for those 2 characters on that map.
Hello everyone, I'm the DM of the Game in question. Let's start with some information about the Game first. My group and I are currently playing the Adventure Module " D&D Dungeon of the Mad Mage" We've been playing it for a couple of months already and the Party is almost done clearing Level 2 of the dungeon.  Now of course clearing 2 Levels takes some time during which this problem did not occur. But alas when we wanted to continue our session yesterday 2 of my players started having the issue that they were unable to  see the Maps. We tried switching them to different levels in order for them to Load the map new, which usually helps with a player not being able to see anything on the Map. I also made sure to check the vision settings of the tokens assigned to them. Since our session before the last one and the on from yesterday nothing has been changed within the Game. Neither the token settings nor the settings of any map or the Game itself.  We were able to narrow it down to an issue with the accounts since a 3rd player of my Party, who had no issues on his setup, tried login in with the accounts of the 2 members that are having the problem. When he logged into the game he had the same issue as the other two but only with their accounts. His is still working fine.

Can you post screen shots of a token that is currently placed on the map for a character/player who cannot see? Specifically: Both tabs of the token settings (showing assignment and vision), plus the page settings for the page they are on, showing the visibility settings. Also ensure that you have not used the Split The Party function, and that they are actually on that map. I know you've checked these things, but this is an unusual problem in that they were previously able to see but now cannot. It would be helpful to eliminate the most likely suspects.
Ok. i just double checked to make sure that the party is not split. Here are the screenshots of 1. the settings of the start screen from the module and  the token settings for one of my players

That all looks good. That eliminates most common causes. Check to make sure that the Genji Pha'nt character is actually controlled by the player in question. Other things to check are to make sure there is not more than one character in the campaign called Genji Pha'nt (no accidental duplicates), and to try changing the name to remove the apostrophe. If that doesn't work, then the two players who have the problem should go through the troubleshooting steps that Pat linked.
We found a solution/workaround, I generate a new page/map and drop the players individually to the new page this new page is loading without problems after this every other page is also loading again. I just get this idea after i prepared a three page long bug report and tested every possible setup on 3 Laptops 2 Browsers with 3 Accounts xD Thanks for your help guys
Hello DM Harter Kern, Thank you for providing this update. I am sorry for any frustration this issue may have caused.  To confirm, has your issue been completely resolved?
Hello, we haven't played again yet but are planning on doing so on Friday. I will make sure to post an update here regarding whether the issue came back up or not. But for now everything is looking good. Edit: Our Session just finished and the problem has not returned during this session so it seems that our issue has been resolved at this point.
