Greetings, and thank you for viewing my thread in advance. Name's Nick and I'm... an inexperienced player although I do know the basics of the actual numbers and whatnot, however i havent played more than one game lasting 2 hrs with a cpl of friends that turned out to be an utter fail. (Due to majority being way too shy) So I figured I would post here in hopes of finding a group to play with, preferrably long-term and with a little bit more of a homebrewy setting. About Me; So as i stated earlier, Name's Nick. I am a 25 yr/o kind of shy guy who has been pushing up the search of a D&D game far too long. I dont work as of right now, however I am studying to become a welder in the near future and I can be quite passionate with the topics of metalworking as it really interests me. Other than that I tend to just sit back in my chair, play some games on my computer while chatting with one of my dear friends (Said friend DM'd that one game we played) Other than that there's not a whole lot to say, I can be very talkative, and on the other spectrum, I can be extremely silent.. I can be quite goofy, but also very serious. Very dependant on who im speaking with or hanging out with. Looking For; So I, as stated up top, am looking for a more homebrewy and a little bending of the rules kinda game, nothing over the top aslong as it doesnt break the game and it fits the character I or anyone else is playing story-wise. Preferrably a group that is between 20-30 years of age but im not very strict about that, I simply want to find like-minded people to play with essentially. Another point I want to bring forth is that I want a fair balance of Roleplay and Combat.. I dont mind roleplaying a whole day with no combat as long as it's for either story or character progression. However, a day of only combat would simply burn me out way too quickly as it isnt as interesting a concept as roleplaying. Side notes; So with all that being said, im hoping to find a group that arent judgemental and have atleast some experience. I may not be the best at roleplaying to be frank, but I hope that I in due time will learn to bring out whatever character I try to embody to the best of my abilities.  Of course, Im not looking for solely a group to play with, but mayhaps a group to chat with every now and again.
