Game day! The party is currently enjoying the hospitality of the Agramonte family and the sharecroppers of Broken Birch Acres. In the morning, the party plans to go into Griffon Gulch and explore your new ... maybe temporary ... home town. Your characters learned a number of interesting facts including: Nico Agramonte aka The Mentor died of cancer a few days before the party arrived. Nico's wife, Esmerelda Agramonte, is now the very capable owner of Nico's vast farm, which is called Broken Birch Acres. Nico's teenage daughter, Isabella Agramonte, is a very talented wandslinger, like her father. Nico's teenage son, Alex Agramonte, has a knack for farming. He is already involved in major agricultural decisions that affect the entire town. Ranching livestock is limited in Griffon Gulch due to dinosaur predators such as the bladetooth. There are no trained "rangers" in Griffon Gulch who can combat the threat. Each character has inherited a large patch of undeveloped farm land. It is valuable. To become full owners of the land, your character must protect it and Broken Birch Acres for at least two years. After that, you can sell the land. The land immediately gives your character a Modest lifestyle for free. After a few months of development, the land will allow your character to have a Comfortable lifestyle for free. Your characters may develop the land in any way. They are not limited to creating farms. Your characters are allowed to travel freely during the next two years but, to keep the land, they must return to Broken Birch Acres eventually. Your characters can abandon their claim to the inherited land at any time. Ownership would then revert to Esmerelda. The Agramonte family claims they would prefer your characters keep the land. You met a number of NPCs including Esmerelda Agramonte, Isabella Agramonte, Alex Agramonte, and several sharecropper families. I hope everyone can make it. Cheers!
