Hello there! I don't want to take anyone's time up in grand amounts so I'll launch myself as a nutshell in a nutshell: I have been a DM for 7 years so far, but never for D&D. Rather a custom tabletop game that is similar but not quite under the "module" view that I understand D&D is under because I wrote all of the rules and lore, etc for what I DM. As of recent, 3 of my core players are unable to work things out in their schedules, and for now we have come to a mutual agreement to put our game into a mini-hiatus until everyone can come together again in good convenience. In the meantime, I'd like to try and see if someone would be willing to teach me any D&D they'd like to (I think the homebrew race I'm about to mention is 5e?)! About Me: I am looking to play a very specific race that I noticed, homebrew I believe. It's the Awakened Cat one (search the words on Google and it will be the first image example). I've never been one to stick with the defaults and subs, rather I enjoy playing tabletops in interesting and unique ways. If someone would like to aid me in setting up the homebrew race in accordance with a sheet or etc, I'd be eternally grateful. I live in America, timezone EDT (UTC -4). I work many days in a row but also get off a lot of days in a row, and always work night shift, so if a game can end before 10pm, that'll always work for me. If not, I am easy to schedule with, cause I understand that side of the board. I vastly enjoy RPing and arousing humor at the table. Not much for power-playing really, I'd much rather prefer to immerse in wonderful settings and setting out on to the horizon with a cast of zany characters. All I ask of is some patience please while explaining to me, I catch on quick but I do like to ask questions to be certain before I enact.
