Theatre-Nerd Looking For Mongoose Traveller 1e Game

What I'm Looking For; I'm hoping to join a Mongoose Traveller 1e Game, either a campaign or one shot My Experience With Traveller; I've recently gotten the rule books for Traveller. Even though I've never played it before, I have a decent grasp on the rules.  Other TTRPGs; I've been playing other TTRPGs for about 3 years now, and joined Roll20 about a month ago.  My Preferences; Since my hobbies including writing and acting, rping is one of my favorite parts of a campaign. Although an action packed battle or climactic exploration scene can be a lot of fun too!  My Schedule; I'm in the CDT time zone, and am usually free anytime after 4:00 PM CDT, and anytime before 8:00 AM CDT. I'm usually more busy on weekends.  I'm excited to meet you all, and hopefully join a group!

usually I run Traveller here, but this fall, I am running 5th edition D&D low Fantasy.  I will keep you in mind if you don't mind, for a future Traveller game?

My group is currently looking for an additional player. We have multiple different campaigns going and pretty much pick and choose what we play based on which GM had the free time to do the prep work. It's one of the consequences of adulthood. We currently have Fantasy AGE and Traveller in the rotation. I'm the referee for our Traveller game. We'll actually be starting a new campaign this week or next week, depending on what everyone wants to play. It's going to be a corporate survey campaign set in the Hinterworlds Sector. As far as rules go, I mix and match from different editions and supplements which are compatible with the Traveller OGL but you'll be fine with the books you have. Our character sheets, space combat, and the core task system are all perfectly compatible with Mongoose 1st Edition. The only problem will be scheduling. We're mostly in Europe and we play in our evening times on Saturdays.

I have been running a Traveller RPG (house rules to streamline) a mix of Classic - Mongoose 2E for about a year. Unfortunately just canceled the campaign (after teaching 30 players the system!)&nbsp; Too many no-call no shows here on Roll20.&nbsp; I prefer roleplay over pew pew (though pew pew has it's place). If you are interested I can look into re-activating the campaign.&nbsp; It's sandbox.&nbsp; I included Third Imperium elements after some players requested, but the starting region is pretty much frontier (think more Firefly vs. Star Trek) with a variety of pocket empires.&nbsp;&nbsp; Past sessions varied from discouraging pirates via quasi-legal gengineered-viruses, to a planetary shooting contest, to finding a movie star's lucky dagger.&nbsp; Oh and we also had a psychic bear.&nbsp;&nbsp; Not sure if the listing still appears since it is on hold:&nbsp; <a href="https://app.roll20.net/lfg/listing/139622/traveller" rel="nofollow">https://app.roll20.net/lfg/listing/139622/traveller</a> If you want more info I can also send you a discord invite.&nbsp; Session recaps and such are there.&nbsp;
