To submit to the Character Sheets Repository, do I need to get a Pro Account?

I've wanted to change some things and update the Werewolf: The Apocalypse 20th Edition Character Sheet. The absolutely necessary changes are: ( ie, things that make the game run incorrectly as they currently are, or restrict actions) Rage should roll Xd10s where X is the highest number of dots in the top or bottom row. Currently it only rolls the Permanent Score (top row) There should be an option to move the dots on the forms page without changing form (A parital shift, such as growing stronger arms and getting a Glabro's Strength Score alongside Homid stats for the rest of it). Currently, attempting to alter only one row causes the dot to snap back into your form. There is no slot for Nature or Demeanour (which could perhaps be placed below Merits and Flaws). If Specialisation is "Yes" on a line in the Dice Pool, the 10s in that roll should count as two successes, not one as they currently do. Then there are a few quality changes I'd like to make: ( ie, things that would open up new options and make the sheet less 'clunkly) Admittedly I am not sure if this is possible to amend, I wish the Dynamic/Static option for Gifts, Rites, Fetishes, Merits and Flaws remembered which one you preferred (ie, my playgroup uses Dynamic for more space, but every time we open a sheet we have to go through and click them all to Dynamic as they default to static). There is no space to fill out the effects of your merits and flaws (when necessary), only enough space for the names. We have been using the note section, but that places it on a different page. You cannot edit the difficulty in the form page, which you should be able to. (Both the Garou and the Changing Breeds form pages. In fact, the Changing Breeds form pages lack a difficulty number for each form altogether!) There should be a box to fill in similar things in the Changing Breed form page to Lupus' "-2 perception diff", underneath the manipulation score. Rage should be re-writable as some of the non-Garou races use other resources. For the same reason, the words Auspice, Breed, Pack Name, Tribe and Pack Totem should be re-writable, as well as the three sub-categories of renown (Honour, Glory, Wisdom). 3-6 here would also open up the character sheet to be used for anyone who wanted to run a Changing Breeds campaign, which is a nice plus. The fact that one of my players wants to play a Corax is why I'm considering starting this endeavour.  I list all of this as I am not sure A) How much of it is actually possible, and B), what I would need to do to make it happen. Would I need a pro-account, or is that only required for when the design and use of the character sheet is private? Thank you for any help. [Edit] - added an extra point to the second section.

You need a Pro account to be able to load a custom sheet. And to test any changes you make to a sheet, you need to set it up as a custom sheet. In theory , if you know html and css well, you can do your edits outside of roll20, and try uploading them to github. In practice , this almost never works, because roll20 has a bunch of custom code and css running behind each character sheet, so you cant be sure your edits will look or work right unless you install it as a custom script for testing.

One option is to temporarily go Pro while you work on improving the sheet and then go back to a lower tier once you're done.

Except it's actually required that sheets and sheet updatesto be tested in Roll20 before uploading to the repository. If you find a Pro user who is willing to help you out with making a test campaign for you, you can get away with not needing a Pro account. But it's much slower to test & develop with going through a intermediary but doable(I tried it out way back).

Someone could do the work without ever testing it in roll20, and the devs can not tell. I have submitted pushes to roll20 sheets (minor fixes that were requested on the forum, and I've pointed out to others what needed to be changed) that I havent actually tested, because I know they will work. My advice wasn't about the rules, but the practicality. You need to test in roll20, not because the rules say so, but because your sheet will not work properly unless you do the testing, unless you are already very familiar with the platform. I do agree about the intermediary. Unless they give you direct access to their account (bad idea) having to go through someone else to upload each change is going to be very tiresome and cause loads of delays. Much better to go pro for the time needed to make the sheet.
