Hey there, We are looking for a few more players for our D&D sessions. We try to hold them every Saturday, but if more than two people are going to be missing, it will typically be cancelled. We use Discord for voice and other misc. This is a low magic campaign with a lot of variant rules that includes things like stress, and dangerous magic. We are looking for good/nuetral aligned characters in this campaign. I DM and I am not super strict about rules. I typically go by rules as written, but I also go by rule of cool. Add me on Discord @Findu42#7137 And send me some answers to the questions below. You can post here, but I check roll 20 far less than Discord. We are going to be starting a new campaign on 9/7/2019. We are currently looking for two players. The rolls we are using are 16, 14, 14, 12, 10, 10. We still be starting at level three. Any published material is fine. If you want to use homebrew/unpublished material, check with me to make sure it fits with the campaign/balance. The party will be starting in a city of scoundrels Currently The party will be consisting of a  Dwarf Barbarian Warlock Artificer   HomeBrew Rules: Stress is part of the world. Anything and everything can potentially cause it. Casting magic causes stress on occasion. Too much stress gives boons or afflictions Rests are a little changed. Short rests are an hour, long rests are overnight, and weeklong rests are in a city to restore sanity/stress. Every time you cast magic, you have a chance to gain stress and other possible afflictions as by a table. This makes for a low magic world     What initially started you onto D&D? And what edition was that?   What do you like most about playing D&D?   What ratio do you like in your D&D game for role-playing vs combat?   Can you make 80% of the games on Saturday?   Are you okay with graphic descriptions (I typically keep it PG-13)?
Hey, My name is Dylan and you have probably gotten a ton of these already but my turn to apply! What initially started you onto D&D? And what edition was that? So what started me to play Dnd was actually my friends in middle school told me they were doing a campaign and asked if i wanted to join. So i played a dragonborn paladin for 5e, but of course we were young and no one knew how to actually be a DM without like just not caring about anything but combat. So i learned how to Dm and i did a year long campaign but i never really got to play as a character yet. but I love a heavy RP and doing voices and Just having fun and making people laugh. and thats my story for starting dnd What do you like most about playing D&D?  So, what i like the most? Hmmmm, Just the random silly actions that some people do! I once was DM'ing and a wizard had wild magic and like turned into a butterfly and like randomly got a crit with double damage for 120 damage and it was hilarious! But also like I said, Doing voices and working on my character sheets and just having a roleplaying experience.   What ratio do you like in your D&D game for role-playing vs combat? This one is a bit hard for me to answer, I sorta okay with any ratio. Obviously there are ups and downs. I do enjoy a good old fight but sometimes if the settings are visceral enough i could stay in a town and talk to people for hours and i just haven't had even a decent DM but yeah, if i had to choose. Like 80-85% roleplaying 20-15% Combat i guess! But im cool with whatever.   Can you make 80% of the games on Saturday? I can probably make it to almost every single game probably 95% to 100% cause i work till 6 est on Saturdays. So having 2 hours to relax is cool! Just my GF is in college some like maybe once in a blue moon i might spend the night but i could still even do it on a laptop so no worrys about me, im very good at scheduling.   Are you okay with graphic descriptions (I typically keep it PG-13)?  Simple, Yup! Im good with anything, sometimes if its like a crit hit. I might like a more graphic description but im cool with whatever. Im 20 btw. and my name is @OtterandSlaughter#3194 on Discord, It wouldn't let me send this there! But My Real name is Dylan! And i hope to talk to you soon! P.S. i like the stress mechanic

Hello my name is Jorge my application won't be as long as the people above or below me but it is to the point What initially started you onto D&D? And what edition was that?  When I was first getting into D&D I had watched the Node play it with their series and ever since then I've been trying to kinda simulation that experience but I have played it in my Highschool D&D club as a half-elf ranger trying to copy Talion form the Rise games What do you like most about playing D&D?  I like the description of the kills people can do and the places we are at I like the story aspect of D&D What ratio do you like in your D&D game for role-playing vs combat?  Since I'm still fairly new I'd say 50-50  Can you make 80% of the games on Saturday?  Absolutely since EST is 3 hours ahead it would be 4 for me PST (Nevada) Are you okay with graphic descriptions (I typically keep it PG-13)?  Absolutely I hate the we have to keep it PG at my Highschool  P.S. my discord is @KILLAJANC#0054
