Hey there, I've been playing 3.5 and Pathfinder for over 5 years now. I've played many classes but have yet to find a DM that would allow me to play as a Necromancer. The argument is always "they are evil". No they are not, well, not always. My aim is not to play an evil character, ideally I would play a C-N character. My availability: All times are available start time MTN Monday: 7:30pm Tuesday: 5:15 pm Wednesday: 7:30 pm Thursday: 5:15 pm Sunday: 3:00 pm Obviously, I am not wanting to DM. I already have two games I DM for, this time I want to play. If anyone is planning on running a 3.5 or Pathfinder game and would allow a Necromancer. Depending the game depends exactly what I would do. 3.5: If this were the game I would like to play as a Dread Necromancer from the Heroes of Horror book. Pathinder: If this were the game I would play a wizard or sorcerer utializing this feat, <a href="http://paizo.com/pathfinderRPG/prd/ultimateMagic/u" rel="nofollow">http://paizo.com/pathfinderRPG/prd/ultimateMagic/u</a>... Either way, I would be using the "Summon Monster" or "Summon Undead" spell a lot. I am not one for hordes, so I would not plan to summon more than 1-2 creatures at a time, unless a monster wall shield was needed for a certain situation. If allowed, I would have all monsters stats ready before summoning as to not slow game down with the oh-so-common "hmm, now let me see which monster I want to summon" crud that often slows games down.
