Scum and Villainy game character sheets are blank

September 05 (5 years ago)
There are no character sheets in my ongoing Scum and Villainy game. When you try to look at them they're blank, not empty character sheets, just blank pages. Have tried clearing cache, disabling add-ons, and nothing has worked. This is not a problem localized to me either, none of the other players can see their sheets.

Hi there, sorry to hear of the issue - I know you've tried some of this already, but please thoroughly work through the steps below from our guide to Solving Technical Issues (Link below), making sure to document your results so we can provide additional help if necessary. Click the links for more information.

Solving Technical Issues

Step 1: Make sure to use the right browser

- Roll20 currently only supports Google Chrome or Mozilla Firefox.
- While troubleshooting please check if the issues persist across both Google Chrome or Mozilla Firefox.

Step 2: Ensure that there are no extensions/addons interfering with Roll20

- To manage extensions on Google Chrome you can follow these instructions: https://support.google.com/chrome_webstore/answer/2664769?hl=en
- To manage addons on Mozilla Firefox you can follow these instructions: http://support.mozilla.org/en-US/kb/disable-or-remove-add-ons

Step 3: Clear your cache

- In Google Chrome follow these instructions: https://support.google.com/chrome/answer/95582?hl=en
- In Mozilla Firefox follow these instructions: https://support.mozilla.org/en-US/kb/how-clear-firefox-cache

If the steps above do not resolve your issue, then please proceed to the final step and completely follow the instructions for further assistance:

Step 4: Provide a bug report

Please be sure to provide all the information to the best of your ability then reply with your Console Log so we can help. It would also be helpful to give us a link to the game in question in case we need to look at it a bit more closely.

Thank you!

I'll get you the bug report when I get home, but it's not localized to one browser or one computer. None of the players see character sheets. We've tried Chrome, Firefox, Chrome mobile. We've tried turning off add-ons and clearing caches.

*sigh* you'd think roll20 would at least coach their support people if they make a mistake.

The actual solution is this: go back to the game settings and select the character sheet again, it got deselected by accident because the name changed.
