Hello Rae M., I'm taking on newbies, unfortunately we are not playing 5e. We are playing a game called Stars Without Number. This system is based on an old edition of d&d so anything you learn should translate fairly well to any of those other games (Pathfinder, 5e, 3.5, ect...). Now, what we call "the rub". This is a sci-fi setting and while there are magic swords, and space magic. The game is more about technology than magic, flying spaceships and laserguns and the like. If you are interested in a sci-fi game take a look at what we are playing. Currently running three times a week so at least one of the games should fit into your schedule.
