Lycanthropy Help

So my GM and I were having an off the books conversation about my character. I've mentioned to him I'm ok with him throwing chaotic changes my way and one of the things we talked about was what IF she were to become Lycanthrope instead of the Vampire she yearns to be.. And we had a wonderful conversation about those wonderful questions for your GM...  How much control will I have over my character if she contracts the curse of Lycanthropy? We agreed I shouldn't have any to start and that makes complete sense to me.. What i'm looking for are ideas on how to build a table where I could slowly progress in remembering and learning to eventually gain control. I completely understand that this shouldn't be of days, but weeks or month, perhaps years?  i was thinking that the first stage would be remembering minor details like chasing a bunny or small person through a field.. Maybe flashes or memories after certain kinds of events..   Any thoughts or input would be great!! Thanks PS: This was my idea, and not the GM's so I'm trying to do the leg work for him.
