Map keeps flipping vertically

Hello, For the last two of my games, my map in Roll20 keeps flipping vertically.  This includes the words above the characters.  I have tried refreshing the page and restarting my computer, and it will fix it for a few minutes.  It just goes back to flipped.  Has this been happening to anyone else?  Is there any solutions? Thanks.

That is the first I heard of it.  To help out the mods and speed up the process can you supply the name of the affected campaigns as well.  Additionally, to be able to rule out potential causes, please carefully  work through the following steps of our guide to   Solving Technical Issues : Step 1: Make sure to use the right browser Please check if these issues persist when using  both  Chrome  and  Firefox. Step 2: Ensure that there are no extensions/addons interfering with Roll20 Please disable  all  add-ons/extensions. Step 3: Clear your cache If none of the above succeeds, please thoroughly work through  Step 4 .  (Don't forget the complete Console Log!) Thank you!
I can confirm this - had this happen to me to. I believe it does not switch on its own but for me it happened when changing between tabs I would come back and the map is flipped. Changing the browser scale / zoom level (not the roll20 zoom slider) fixed the problem for a short period of time. I have first seen this issue arise since upgrading my monitor to a 21:9, 38" model. I haven't worked through the troubleshooting but will do if I see it happening again.
Hello all, I am sorry to hear that you have encountered this issue with the map flipping horizontally.  To be able to troubleshoot this issue and collect additional information, please follow the troubleshooting steps listed by Pat S.. Once we have the requested information, we will be able to pass this issue along to the devs.  Thanks!
I too have this issue.  What I've noticed is after it flips (selecting another tab and coming back does it), if you resize the browser window in any way (go from maximized to windowed or otherwise drag and resize it), it will revert back to normal until you click another tab again.  Console seems to show UPDATE GL SIZE and final set zoom! after each instance of it flipping one way or the other.  Example below: UPDATE GL SIZE! app.js:543 Final set zoom! app.js:563 window resize app.js:543 Final set zoom! app.js:542 UPDATE GL SIZE! app.js:543 Final set zoom! app.js:563 window resize app.js:543 Final set zoom! app.js:542 UPDATE GL SIZE! app.js:543 Final set zoom! app.js:563 window resize app.js:543 Final set zoom! app.js:542 UPDATE GL SIZE! app.js:543 Final set zoom! app.js:563 window resize app.js:543 Final set zoom! app.js:542 UPDATE GL SIZE! app.js:543 Final set zoom! app.js:563 window resize app.js:543 Final set zoom! app.js:542 UPDATE GL SIZE! app.js:543 Final set zoom! app.js:563 window resize app.js:543 Final set zoom! app.js:542 UPDATE GL SIZE! app.js:543 Final set zoom! app.js:563 window resize app.js:543 Final set zoom! app.js:542 UPDATE GL SIZE! app.js:543 Final set zoom! app.js:563 window resize app.js:543 Final set zoom! app.js:542 UPDATE GL SIZE! app.js:543 Final set zoom! Hope this helps!  I did try clearing browser cache, logging all the way out of the site and back in, and disabling all extensions.  None of that had any effect.
This is happening to me in Chrome even with Incognito mode on and no extensions enabled. I notice the same console log mentioned above.
Another observation: If you have Roll20 in its own browser window with no other tabs, Alt-Tab and other such window changes back and forth do not create this problem.  It only seems to happen when you have Roll20 and other browser tabs in the same window and switch between them.
Hello all, If after following the troubleshooting steps listed above and the issue is still persisting, please  thoroughly work through all of the requested information in  Step 4 . Please be certain to include the complete console log so that the devs have the information they need to help provide a solution to this issue.  Thanks!
In my case, I am using the new Edge (Chromium) Dev build, but it looks like this exact issue was addressed in today's update.  (78.0.276.2)  The problem no longer happens and in the patch notes it mentioned this: Fixed an issue where elements of certain web pages sometimes flip upside down when you switch tabs.
Hello ZenBlade, Thank you for that update. However, please also note that Roll20 is only supported on Chrome and Firefox. We are unable to troubleshoot any issues with users using other browsers.
