Fog of war and advanced fog of war all black

Hello All, I'm trying to prepare the decent into avernus campaign in a week, trying to prepare the maps, I can't make the fog of war work. Every time I set it on, everything goes black in the players view, even when I set a distance in the fog of war field in the tolken. Can someone help? Thank you.

Not dumb question!&nbsp; I'm a new Roll20 user and we spent 2 hours last night trying to figure this out!&nbsp; OMG. I feel silly now!
