Themes Without being specific to the point of spoiling, the world is extremely low magic. Being a wizard is enough to turn most heads. Being a strong wizard means that states are trying to keep track of you in case you become a threat. A magic item is semi-legendary. Even regular magic is revered by most cultures. The enemies of the campaign, while they have calling cards and MOs, will not be set entirely in one theme. You may face anything from a band of mercenary humans, bound demons, bribed tribes, conjured elementals, caroused giants, or commandeered hell engines. If certain enemy's you may make want these things, they can probably get them.   Character Creation Rules (Important) Starting Level is 4 You are expected to make a character that would have a reason to stop a great evil, even if it's just for glory. You are expected to  not  make a character who would  frequently  steal from the party or cause pvp. I have made 2-handed/sword and shield balanced against 2-handed weapons, they are no longer significantly different in power and all can be built optimally. Character Creation Rules (Less Important) Players May use the core rule books, any single expansion book, and any single pre-approved homebrew aspect. (Unearthed arcana counts as a single core-rulebook for all accept Revised Ranger). Multi-Classing Allowed. Variants (including monsters) are active and usable. You May Select your character race, your backstory is generated via Xanathar's Guide Tables, the rest you are free to edit with GMs discretion You're stats are rolled using 4d6-drop lowest. You have 2 rolls and attempting the second one will invalidate the first one. The second roll may be substituted for point-buy if you don't want to risk low stats. It is assumed that you have unlimited access to the basic PHB shops before you start, so even if you take the starting equipment, you can still trade some things out. You can also spend any bonus gold that you rolled for your background. Characters use XP to level, variant encumbrance, and fixed hp. Medium Voice-Chat   Pantheon Forgotten Realms/Abier Toril - My edit   Schedule Aldurun: Dark Days takes place at 5:30pm-10:30pm EST every Wednesday.   Joining PM the me with your favorite character concept. Please don't place your application in the comments section. Length and quality of your character concept will give you a higher priority over other applicants  who don't put that effort into their character. This is always a deciding factor. If you really want to get in, write a well detailed character concept. A concept is a description of how your character might act, function in combat, look, interact with the party, and/or their backstory. Something that gives me a good idea of how you'll work in the group.
