[LFP][5e][EST] New DM looking for New Players!

Hello all! Thank you for taking the time to read this. As the title says I am going to throw my (very new) hat into the ring of DM'ing.  I have never DM'd before, and truth be told I am still a very new player, but then even the greats started somewhere right? I have seen that there seem to be a higher ratio of players-DM, and so I wanted to give it a try and see if I can pick up some new/patient players while I run a bought campaign/module to learn the ropes better :) If you are a new player, please feel free to shoot me a Discord Message! I am still a new player myself and I know it can be hard/scary to get into a game when you're new. Hi there, My friend and I are looking for a committed 5e group. We both have D&D experience, I have played 5e and my buddy has more 3.5e knowledge but is getting into 5e.  I also DM a local group for 5e so I'd be happy to assist where needed. I am EST and he is CST, but we are pretty flexible schedule-wise. Wednesdays might be busy for me, but the rest of the week should work and we don't mind staying up late or having longer sessions. Hi thisguyhamish I am 26 y/o I actually considered trying DMing myself but my eyesight means quick reading and searching is difficult. May still give it a go...and fall flat on my face :)  Willing to give friendly feedback and suggestions, as well as sharing/discussing rules. If that is what you are looking for I would be happy to join your fresh group. The prospect of joining a new group appeals alot to me as I can see questions bouncing betweem player, checking of the rules, mistakes and lightbulb moments - all of which may make a strange campaign, but an educational one, which is perhaps what new players need. On top of that simply supporting you in your endeavour to become a DM is a good enough reason to join. Might be a great oppurunity to get to know each other and perhaps even turn into a solid longterm group - which in a couple of months or year have a great DM! As long as the players you pick are friendly, not too much in your face and are committed then I am interested. Maybe a oneshot or two first to establish which players would mingle well? live in UK - 9am for you is 2pm for me. Thus I would be available for a start time of 7am-1pm your time (maybe push 2pm). Regards Suraj P.s should also mention I am partially sighted so do prefer a more descriptive gsme. Maps and tokens are ok but prefer not to be over reliant on them. Ie if we enter a cave we are told the general layout of what we can see or obvious paths. And in combat told a short description of where enemies are in relation to me

Hello all! Thank you for the responses, it is overwhelming and I am humbled that so many of you have responded to me :) I am going through Discord this morning and will reach out to everyone. *Update* The interest has been an order of magnitude more than I ever thought it would be. TO reiterate I am not an experienced DM, and to be honest at first I probably won't even be a very good DM. Everyone starts somewhere, which is why I'm so thankful to everyone for their responses.  I am going to run two sessions, as I want to try and include as many people as possible. I know for a new DM running more than one might be crazy, but sometimes you jump in with both feet and go for it :) So please feel free to keep messaging me or adding me on Discord! I don't want anyone to feel like they can't reach out. Thanks again!

Just so we know w/o going straight to discord, what timezone are you in?

AfterShox - You make a great point and thank you for pointing that out to me. I am on EST time. However the first session currently has a CST and PST player, so the time is definitely flexible.
