Hey there! I've been looking for an excuse to try out a Vampire: the Dark Ages scenario. Or maybe even something set in the 90's in some more or less self-contained city, using V:tM  2e. Hell, i even have a Vampire: the Requiem 2e core book i haven't gotten to use yet. Unfortunately, i collect older books. So it wouldn't be the shiniest, and newest version. But from what i can tell, most of the basics will be the same. Edit: They have a quickstart online, so i am officially up for even the shiniest and newest version.
Hi Billy, I'll speak to the other player and see what he thinks as he is more of the WoD player of the two of us, Im just the one throwing out adverts.
Sounds no greater than 3% away from fantastic. Also, i have Werewolf: the Forsaken, and Chronicles of Darkness in addition to Vampire: the Requiem from the nWoD era. And i have these neat splatbooks for Vampire: the Dark Ages about playing viking-vampires and i even have one about playing vampires inside the ancient Mongol hordes! (This is all cWoD stuff.) It would almost be easier to name the stuff i don't have for Vampire: the Masquerade 2e... Almost. But i also have Werewolf: the Apocalypse, Mage: the Ascension, a book about playing Sorcerers (a less apocalyptically overpowered version of a spellcaster.), and even The Hunters Hunted about playing the basically suicidal mortals who go around trying to kill vampires! This is all cWoD too. for V:tM  5e, we'd only have the quickstart. but i feel like we'd wring all the juice it had out of it. Also yes, i know that's a lot of books to have for something i rarely get to do. I'm just a collector, it's what i do. I can stop any time i want. I don't have a problem, you have a problem.
No the enthusiasm is a good sign for sure, I have passed on your messages and I will let you know what decision is made.
