[LFG] Dresden Files

Been itching to play this again, hopefully longterm. I don’t have much experience so can’t GM. I’m also available pretty much any day or time aside from Saturday nights (biweekly) and Sunday nights.

Big fan of the books. I am a GM - although this is a fairly recent development - so curb your Mercer effects. I have a pdf somewhere I started reading a while ago. What I'm trying to say is... should there be any interest and should you manage to gather some like minded individuals willing to do some world building/session 0 brainstorming I could try and run it. If I remember correctly this system emphasizes city building among the party members. It needn't be Harry's Chicago. 

Finding a GM before other players was more than I was hoping for, so I’m happy about that. And you likely have more experience than me anyways. Are you referring to the original or Accelerated? I’ve played the latter, but never the former. I’m good at figuring out rules, though, so it’s all good. And yeah, I don’t think I’d want to set it in Chicago. Too many toes to step on. I’ll check with my D&D group if there’s anyone interested in playing.

I might be interested in this as a player, too! I love urban fantasy and have had awful luck finding a game in that genre ever since the Dresden Files RPG campaign that was one of my first forays into TTRPGs. The day and time could be an issue for me, I mostly only have Tuesday through Thursday free right now, with a chance Saturday might possibly be opening up soon, but I'd really be down to try and work something out. I've gotten a bit more experience with FATE under my belt since that first Dresden Files game, and I have all sorts of interesting ideas for characters, so I'd love to give it another try. I also wasn't aware there was an Accelerated adaptation, but if using that was a group consensus I probably wouldn't find it much of a hardship, since my last FATE game also used Accelerated and it was pretty easy to figure out compared to the original Dresden Files RPG.

Glad to have you on board, Matt! I think if we can get one or two more people, we'll have enough to get started. Those times work fine for me ATM.

Hi! I started to read the Dresden Files book  a month ago and I would like to join you guys! I never played the TTRPG but I'm a fast learner ^^

Similarly, I am a fan of the series and have a passing familiarity with the specific rules system. I'd be quite interested in joining if our schedules line up.

Hello Everyone, I’m planning on GMing a Dresden Files Accelerated mini-campaign starting in the next couple of weeks, Session Zero plus 4-6 sessions, on the 2nd and 4th Fridays of the month, starting at 6:30 PM Pacific time, probably 3-4 hours long each session, 5-6 players.
