Undertown Late May, 2946 TA Between training sessions with the increasingly likable Hauz, Radril and Fosco attempted to use bones from the floating corpse to make shives. They then tested their prison managing to pry a small sliver of the wood aside from the wall. It revealed that they were under Laketown’s platforms, but it was not large enough to escape. The two heroes also tried to enlist Grisha into their plans to escape, but its unclear if the Snaga is willing to help them. Radril and Fosco also fought their fight bought in the Red Pool. It turns out that the event is really a religious ceremony overseen by a figure wearing a strange, silver skull cap with long extensions and some opalescent stones. A team of jester-like goblins danced in the center of the octagon as the congregation pounded their seats and chanted as their buckets of blood and small, sacrificial animals swinging wildly around. The gladiators then choose cards to decide both their foe and what drawback they would be assigned. Once chosen, the flesh jugglers paraded the card around to the delight of the congregations. The overseeing priest shared his booth with the kimono wearing Kynoden (still holding Skari’s eye) and a tall, thin eastern who remains a mystery. They watched Skari and Mastiff fight off a swarm of Nangula Hatchlings, but Mastiff was killed. At the end of the battle, his remains were scooped up by the goblin flesh jugglers and tossed into the congregation who squabbled over the bits of his flesh. The “lucky” ones eagerly gobbling down the bloody bits. In their fight, Fosco and Radril fought a twisted figure with wings. After finding him at the bottom of the pool, Radril managed to restrain the fierce adversary as she and Fosco pummeled him to death. At the end, the grateful congregation sprinkled the hero’s with blood as a sign of respect, and they returned to their cells contemplating other ways to escape.
