Hi ClassyRed -
We're sorry to hear you're having some trouble getting in contact with people! To confirm, this is occurring when you go to their profile and click the "Send Private Message" button, correct? If so, can you also confirm at what stage you receive this message? Is it immediately after you click "Send Private Message", or after you type the message and try to hit "Send"? Any additional details you can provide are appreciated.
Not the OP, but I have the same issue, and it happens after I type the message, and try to send it.
-edit: Opening roll20 in incognito allowed it to go through just fine for some reason.
You might be blocking some javascript from google as sometimes you must complete a captcha to send messages. This messed me up once before and I use a JS blocking browser extension and didn't realize that suddenly I had to complete a captcha for that message. Just a thought.
Same problem here, tried different browser, deactivating extensions and allowing JS but no cigar. The bug happens when you click the send button after writing the message.
I have the same problem and tried all of the above mentioned steps with no success.
Edit: Firefox with no extensions/apps seemed to work after a few tries
Tried everything stated above but no luck. It seems to be related to one specific campaign. I can't comment on the forums or message anyone, including the DM.
Hey all -
To rule out possible causes and provide a baseline for support on this issue, we would ask everyone to still carefully work through the below steps of our guide to Solving Technical Issues.
If none of the above succeeds, we ask that you please provide the requested information in Step 4, including the full console log. This step is especially important as it allows our dev team to investigate and address the issue more quickly and efficiently. Thank you! :)
