Game day! The party is currently traveling to Stone Valley to finish the Sheriff's annual basilisk hunt. You need 2-3 dead basilisks to complete the hunt. On the way you met Jaalbash, a representative from "The Community." He wants to trade Griffon Gulch's undesirables for weapons which will help the settlers fight a mysterious threat known as Eyle-Iyle. You learned a few things including: Stone Valley has a very unusual infestation of basilisks. They do not use Petrifying Gaze on each other (or reflections). Three years ago, Isabella Agramonte was turned to stone trying to discover the "secret of Stone Valley." Mistress Mirabel rescued Isabella but it cost Nico a lot of money. She will do the same for the party but can only help two victims at a time. Local teenagers have made Stone Valley part of a dangerous game in which they try to reach the spot where Isabella turned to stone. Sheriff Hammershard tries to contain the dangers of Stone Valley by killing several basilisks every year. Sheriff Hammershard had to abandon this year's basilisk hunt when his group was attacked by desert spiders. Jaalbash has been spying on Griffon Gulch disguised as "Erix the Brelish Hermit." Jaalbash claims The Community planned to introduce themselves to Griffon Gulch eventually but the sudden threat of Eyle-Iyle forced them to accelerate their plan. The Community seems to be somewhere in the foothills of the Endworld Mountains and may be led by someone called "Glorious Leader."
