Allow games to be marked as "tips encouraged" instead of pay-to-play. For DM's who do not expect payment nor want their games to be marked as pay to play to properly categorize and display their games as such. To prospective players who are looking for games.  The "tips encouraged" option will be separate checkbox on the listing page of a game. Edit to add: The following search options should be added as well, "show tips encouraged games", "show pay-to-play games", and "show free-to-play games".  Edit to add: Instead of absolute search options such as "only find x games". Add "show games that welcome new players".

How would that be different from any other non-paid game in the LFG tool? Edit to add: I mean any GM would likely welcome a tip, right?

Sure most Gm's would welcome a tip. But there is a difference between a game where the DM never encourages their players to tip. From a game where a DM encourages their players to tip with the caveat that it is not a requirement.  It allows players to better fine tune their search for games that fit for them. A player who does not wish to tip nor pay-to-play will not check either boxes. While another player not willing to pay-to-play but is willing to tip their DM now and then can better find such games.
