Hey All - DM Apoplectic here.... (I realize I just said that as if you should know me or something, which is ridiculous - `cuz you shouldn't as it's my first ever post here on the Forums - but there you have it.) At any rate, the TL;DR pitch is, for reasons beyond anyone's real control, it's getting impossible for my regular local group to meet anymore. Therefore, it's high time to start looking elsewhere to try and get a game going. And so, here I be. I'm looking for three more players (total group number will be four and I already have the first member of the party slotted in) to run through Tales From The Yawning Portal strung together more or less (hopefully) into a full campaign. Additionally, as I'm a huge fan of Acquisitions Incorporated , The Adventure Zone, and Drunks & Dragons , I'm imagining the game will be run in similarly light-hearted a fashion. So somewhat inappropriate senses of humor are going to be a plus here. All characters will be starting off brand-spanking-1st-Level-new and using the standard point array for stats (i.e. 15, 14, 13, 12, 10, 8). You'll be able to use (most likely) any options available out of the published 5e books - just nothing out of DM's Guild or 3rd-Party sources, if you'd be so kind. If this sounds interesting to you and you'd like to give it a go, feel free to hit me up and I'll definitely get back to you on it. I'm looking to fire the engines up roundabouts early to mid-November (roughly). Time-frames ( a la days and the hours thereof) will depend on the group that eventually gets assembled, obviously. As for myself (and the one already slotted character) - we're both on PST, and our respective day-jobs could make weekday play a questionable matter. Weekends would be a far better proposition. Also, I'd like the game to run reasonably regularly (weekly or bi-weekly), however - as with most things - all these details can be worked out in finer specifics after the final group is cemented. With all that being said, I'd like to thank you for taking the time to check out the offer on table and look forward to hearing from anyone who feels they might be down for the venture. I'll see y'all at the Portal - table round the back, next to the questionable-looking troll and the animated sock-puppet. Cheers!
