Sharn, the City of Towers is looking for DMs and Players! we are a discord server that is hosting a cross between Adventure league and west-marches style of playing Fifth Edition (5e) Dungeons and Dragons. We have a few Dungeon Masters with a variety of schedules and are attempting to run games out of the city of Sharn in Eberron. The player characters are all adventurers within the city of Sharn that work for an adventuring guild to gain lucrative contracts and find others to work with. This allows for a Persistent world/MMORPG like feel for the server where you can play in one game with a party, and the next time play with a completely different group. Perhaps the group could contain the same players, just using different characters! The server runs games both on Roll20 and Theater of the Mind, which is playing without a table but rather using your imagination for the game and rolling dice. All official relevant WotC content is allowed along with some unearthed arcana. There is no limit to the amount of characters you can have. Make as many as your imagination can pump out if you wish! There are some requirements for continued play on the server. Due to the dynamic player basis and the sharing of the world between DMs, character XP, items, gold and progression is logged in a variety of ways. There is a provided google drive folder for everyone to upload their character sheets to, along with an google spreadsheet to track those, along with item trading between players, and spendature of downtime between adventures (still a WIP*). Discord itself is as well for logging; certain channels are designated logs and are should only contain posts to log character activities, such as character creation, sessions, trades, crafting, and though adventurers are extraordinary... even character deaths. DM Rewards Dungeon masters are able to swap between playing and DMing with ease and are able to keep up with the characters they run games for. A dungeon master is given experience and gold towards a character they elect as their PC to receive rewards for the game. An added bonus is at the end of each game week, DMs have accrued up token points in order to roll for items for one of their characters, thus enabling them to have the same toys they have been handing out to their fellow players while running sessions.
