Ch. 6: Yellow Musk Zombies & Creeper block the way in, Giant Ants, A Hungry Xorn and falling stalactites!

And just as  I  was about to rush in to help you all with the hacking and slashing!   Dungeon Master (GM): ok now, you have 3 dead bodies on the ground and a huge flowering yellow plant beside and over the cave entrance up ahead   Shadowfox: Coal & Sheila: Cass can come back now.   Maevis Silverleaf "Can we burn it away?"   Shadowfox: Coal & Sheila: or have her fly overhead and see if there are more of these things in the area.   Perren: I can build the fire   Shadowfox: Coal & Sheila: I dont have a torch lit or I would   Dungeon Master (GM): ok she does fly overhead and does not notice any movement in the area   Shadowfox: Coal & Sheila: although we dont want to anounce our entrance with a big fire   Dungeon Master (GM): don't forget the party does have two hooded lanterns with permanent lights inside   Perren: wait, can I loot the zombies?   Dungeon Master (GM): i will use a little yellow dot on the two that have them yes   Shadowfox: Coal & Sheila: I dont think that the magical light they cast can start fires can they?   Perren: rolling 1d20< 16  Looting( 15 ) = 1 Success   Dungeon Master (GM): Perren noticed that they all wear banded mail and have shields and that one of the long swords is in great shape while the other two have a bit of rust here and there.   Maevis Silverleaf "I don’t think its a good idea to risk going by without burning or freezing it away first."   Perren: ill take the good longsword   Shadowfox: Coal & Sheila: I would say take the long sword that is in great shape.   Dungeon Master (GM): by 'It' we assume you mean that big yellow flowering plant!   GreyWolfVT (Grax): Good Advice Shadowfox   Dungeon Master (GM): ok you take the cool looking sword   Perren: can you tell me the longsword stats plz?
Dungeon Master (GM): ha ha ha! you have to have a magic-user Identity it first! Plus you don't even know for sure yet if it is indeed magical!   Perren: anyone here a magic user?   Devin M.: Yes.   Perren: can you identify this longsword for me?   Shadowfox: Coal & Sheila: We usually wait until we have a good pile of treasure to detect magic.. or the end of the day before a rest.   Perren: alright   Maevis Silverleaf: Technically Quintolos Is but He’s still swimming in the river   Perren: i will just put the sword in my inventory for now   Dungeon Master (GM): with a couple of river dolphins guiding him around faster opps, the party would not know that yet! ok Perren!   Perren: what is the longswords weight?   Balen: I can identify it for you - (wave of hand) There now it's identified as  YOUR SWORD .   Shadowfox: Coal & Sheila: coal and sheila will move towards the large plant with yellow flowers, taking note of any movement it makes.   Dungeon Master (GM): The Longsword weighs 6 lbs. Oh geez Balen!   Balen the Human Bard , Grin   Maevis Silverleaf laughs at Balen   Shadowfox: Coal & Sheila: Is the cave to the left or right of the plant   Dungeon Master (GM): It is to the left of the now dead yellow musk creeper. As coal and sheila moved closer they noticed that several flowers begin to move and sway about   Shadowfox: Coal & Sheila: hmmm.. any druids around?   GreyWolfVT (Grax): Where's a druid when you need one   Dungeon Master (GM): certainly not in this party!   GreyWolfVT (Grax): used to be one like a year ago   Dungeon Master (GM): yes you can   Dungeon Master (GM): ok you have a fire started   Shadowfox: Coal & Sheila: I will go back and recover arrows.   RECOVER ARROWS or BOLTS/QUARRELS For Coal Blackstone the Human Ranger WHICH SAVES AS METAL VS.
