Disabling music for one person in particular

Hello there, I have been using the Jukebox for a while now however one of my players will have incredibly poor internet this coming session. Who will probably struggle to load music as well as assets. I was wondering if there was some way to disable music for that one person completely?  I am doubtful Roll20 has this functionality but I am hopeful someone could talk me through where to find this information of the like via "inspect element" so it would stop loading and using up bandwidth.

Unfortunately, there's no way to do that. That said, if they're internet is going to be that bad, I don't think that not streaming the sound would actually help. I believe a much greater piece of the bandwidth usage is for the vtt itself.

Well it's a single small map of assets to load versus a couple MB files each time the track changes which I've been looking at via the network tab. I would've assumed the music would be more but I guess I'm wrong.  That's a shame as I've tried a few things and basically ended up with nothing.

For low bandwidth players, I suggest using a free conferencing service for the audio. Not Discord or Hangouts or any that use bandwidth, but the kind that has an actual phone number. This way, even when their Roll20 display is lagging, they can still play (and tell you that their display is lagging). If you're using audio through the network, then when the network is slow you fall into that loop of "Can Joe hear me?" "Can anyone hear Joe?" that is very disruptive. (I realize this doesn't solve the music problem, but I hope it's helpful.)
