I do not give out experience every session, normally its every few weeks. I give out exp based on role-play, encounters (solved peacefully, or violently), quests, npc relationships and interactions, use of class skills, and player positivity, etc. Feel free when i say exp is being calculated to send me a reminder of anything you think your character deserves xp for. Session notes for weeks completed improves exp for the entire party. you can earn 4x exp for "in character" forum posts, note you can earn exp for the same material in discord and in forums, but you must clean it up if your copying stuff from discord and make it readable. Do note if the scene you post in the forums is between your character and others, its up to the person who posts it if they want to share that exp or keep it all for themselves, only one forum post per material can be awarded exp. I also give out some exp for "in character" discord text based roleplay during the week. Due note: To be awarded exp for "in character" discord scenes, you need to submit to me a rough page count on how many pages you typed into the discord "ic" channel that week. Failure to send me a direct message with "ic" page count on game-day only or you forfeits your exp for"ic" discord stuff for that week. (do not send me a page count for forum posts) How does one estimate a page, open discord completely on your pc, and estimate how many complete pages of your text would fill that page. The above example shows one page, each of the players here have about 1/2 of a page on this page. So on this page each player has earned 1/2 a page, so two pages like this would net you as a player one complete page
