Vin: You ready, Ricky? Myriandor: Lets get going Dungeon
Master (GM): Yes i am ready, so let's get started Wuth
Nonvul: Lets-a-go! Opening Scene: In the city of Neverwinter, a dwarf named Gundren
Rockseeker asked you to bring a wagonload of
provisions to the rough-and-tumble settlement of Phandalin, a couple of days’
travel southeast of the city. Gundren was clearly excited and more than a
little secretive about his reasons for the trip, saying only that he and his
brothers had found “something big,” and that he’d pay you ten gold pieces each
for escorting his supplies safely to Barthen’s
Provisions , a trading
post in Phandalin. He then set out ahead of you on horse, along with a warrior
escort named Sildar
Hallwinter , claiming he needed to arrive early to “take
care of business.”
You’ve spent the last
couple days following the High Road south from Neverwinter, approximately a 50
mile trip, traveling about a 4 mph pace and you’ve just recently veered east
along the Triboar Trail. You’ve encountered no trouble so far, but this
territory can be dangerous. Bandits and outlaws have been known to lurk along
the trail. Dungeon
Master (GM): We last left off when the Oxen
driving the cart suddenly stopped in their tracks, on the Triboar Trail,
refusing to go any farther! Myriandor: Myriandor starts to look around for any threats 7

Myriandor almost slipped but Vin calms them down Wuth Nonvul takes out his longsword and begins to prod the
road in front of him, attempting to reveal all the pits Dungeon
Master (GM): a closer look, it appears that
foliage covered in dirt from the road, is over a hole as Wuth does so, you see a gnome, a
Tymoran priest from the looks of his robes lying on the floor of a pit in a
pool of blood, with several arrows in him! Myriandor: How deep is the hole? Buddy
D.: how deep is the pit Dungeon
Master (GM): looks to be about 10 ft deep and 6
