Drael Kantabar Human Expert Level 3 Hit Points 15 You gain a free level in a non-combat focus related to your background. Most concepts will take Specialist in their main skill, though Diplomat, Starfarer, Healer, or some other focus might suit better. You may not take a combat-oriented focus with this perk. In case of uncertainty, the GM decides whether or not a focus is permitted. Once per scene, you can reroll a failed skill check, taking the new roll if it’s better. Possibly because of his constant travels through his life he values his friends greatly when he makes them, but those not inside his clsoe friends are always at risk of being exploited or swindled in some way. With no roots and no family he has no reason to settle anywhere and so he roams through the stars flying where he can to earn money and put his considerable talents to use. In truth, the only time he really feels alive is when the console is his and the ship is performing some kind of high risk manoeuvre, the flights aren't as regular as he'd like as people often stop short of trusting him with a ship of their own. Drael is small, dark and handsome - he has a warm smile and short jet black hair and a short beard, icy blue eyes and tanned skin that combined makes him attractive, if not a bit too pretty. But he has a genuine talent at getting on the best side of people, which seems tocome from his ability to read what a person wants and giving them that, or the promise that they might get it.
