API that calls a player's macro bar?

Our group uses macros from a shared spell-book character for each 'class' in the game, that way they can set their own spells up for our homebrew system and incase any balancing changes come in later on everyone's up to date; but it can get clunky for people who play multiple characters who don't go through resetting their macro bars. Are there any API scripts that call on a player's macro bar set up to make it a bit more easily viewable?

Unfortunately, the API can only read what's in the player's macro bar. It has no way to change it. You can set things as token actions and then people would have access based on which token they have out on the map and have selected.

That would be sweet though, to swap out macro bar sets.

What I might suggest though is that you take a look at either my MenuMaker script or GiGs' Universal Chat Menus script. You could use these to create menus to handle a lot of what you have on the macro bar. This would at least lessen the bloat in the bar. The other option is to color code the buttons in the bar so that each character a person might have is a different color.
