Adding Tokens to Pages

Just figuring this out. Real basic question. Figured out how to link the PC tokens and characters. Got them moved from page to page. But how do I move a NPC and/or Monster token from my tokens page to a map page?

Am I missing something? Do I need to make them 'characters" as well? Thanks. Just trying to figure this out. Is there a place/forum for beginner ROll 20 builders that helps you as you get started?

Cooooooooool. Thanks for the answers.

If they're linked to character journals, you can just click and drag the journal to someplace on the tabletop to make a copy of the token.

But it sounds like you just have them all on a page meant for token storage. When you're using tokens in that fashion, all you have to do is select what NPC tokens you need and use the CTRL/CMD C keyboard shortcut, load the page you want to add them to, then use the CTRL/CMD V command to paste them to the new page.

This subforum is a great place to start asking questions. There's also our wiki if you haven't looked it over too. We got a great community here.

You can make them characters with sheets which could include various combat macros or you can just copy and paste them from page to page.
Thanks for the heads up on the Wiki. I had seen it before but couldn't find my way back to it.

I'm going to keep working on it. I think I get it. If I do it wrong, I'll come back here and ask some more questions.
