April 2-3, 2946 Frosco followed Leesh into the keep where they met with his leader, Ulda. They briefly spoke in their own language with Fosco picking out the words “Cerullean” and “Lorfalma.” After some tense negotiations, Fosco learned that Ulda knew and worked with Lorfalma, and that their trust in the Hobbit meant that he too would trust him. In the end, he made Fosco swear to bring him the items he sought, or a terrible blood curse would be laid on him. The point of coming to the castle found, the PCs decided to divide the set up. Keeping two volumes, they buried four in the herb growing chamber leaving them in the care of the sentient fungus. Four other tombs were put beneath the rotting corpse. They also closed all the door to make it appear they were never there. The Party reconviened at the tower and did not tell Skari of finding the books. They then rested. The next day, they awoke around 5 and set off to the north towards their camp. As they watched, a large flock of birds like the ones they disturbed in one of the keep’s towers were flying East. I’m sure that’s nothing...
