[LFP] Home brew game

Hello everyone. I am here looking to see if anyone might be interested in joining a low fantasy home brewed game (with its own rules and dice system) that focuses a bit more on RP then just combat - 60 / 40 on avg. Here is the short version of the game. - Long term play, live your characters life, starting out at level one - Open ended game, choose what to do - A fairly new world - Open class system. - No magic (but there are old wives tales of unexplainable things) - Anything can happen (I don't shy away from much, if there is something you are uncomfortable with please let me know) What are the expectations for the game? Hoping to be able to play every week (my schedule is open so even twice a week is good with me, I'm PST but I can make any time zone work) Be reliable, don't commit once a date is scheduled if you are unsure if you can make the game sessions. Keep meta gaming to a minimum. Take your characters seriously, And be able to stay in character (don't want the type to have make 5 characters to make it through the session – that's an exaggeration but just to give you an idea of what I mean) Be able to give constructive feedback (this is a home brew game that's not perfect by any means) Also be open to making new friends! That is the short version of the game. If your interested I'd like to hear from you! For anyone still curious or wanting to know a bit more here is the moderate version. I have always liked running character driven games, where the player can be who they want to be and have those actions follow them. In my games the players start out just like anyone else in the world, they are not heroes.... I don't like to hamper character choice, “your the good guys” you cant do that. (granted I would make sure that's what you REALLY want to do and your aware that there are  consequences lol) I like the approach of this is YOUR characters story. You can be known for good, evil or nothing at all if that's how you want to play. The game has an open class system, where you choose the starting class, kind of a background of your characters but you are not limited to “Class” skills. If you can find someone to train you, and you have the points to gain the skill, you can learn it. Even if you aren't skilled in something you can still try to do it. OMG no magic?! Yes that's kinda true, I felt with how magic is so mainstream it has lost just how awesome it is supposed to be. With magic schools, potions and scrolls everywhere there is no mystique about it. So in this world IF... if there is magic, its unknown, and since I'm on the subject, gods are a fairly new concept to the people in the game as well. The game world is constantly changing people have just recently gotten accustomed to non humans (Elves / intelligent orcs and the like) The goal in all of this is for the players to have a hand at forging the future of the game world, after all some of the major events in the game were the players doing. lastly... I'm planing to stream the game on Mixer, and I'm hoping to further build the game as it is a work in progress. I also wouldn't mind creating a community (Discord) of gamers where we could still play one offs (if that's also what you want to do) or even take turns being GM
Hi there, this sounds interesting. I am UTC timezone and could only do evenings or weekends. Do you plan to have the first session a character creation and system explanation session?

This sounds pretty interesting. I'm curious how you'd handle classes like Monk and Ranger, since they either have mystical elements or magic built in despite being a martial class.  I'd be down for it, though I'm CEST and have 3 games to attend as well. My schedule is fairly open aside from that.
Greetings and salutations!         This is an incredible concept for a game, so that's already a huge kudos to you! I don't have as flexible of a schedule, but would be very interested in joining. Typically, I'm available Mon-Thu at/after 6pm EST and on Sundays after 2pm EST, just putting that in the pot in case scheduling pans out favorably. Hope to hear from you, but if not happy adventures! -Ghoulie
This sounds interesting and fun!  Looks like there is less to remember in terms of spells and such and more time to focus on the world around you and the RP aspect. I would love to play and build a story here. I live MDT and I'm available Mon/Wed/Fri anytime after 7pm and Tues/Thurs anytime after 8pm.  I can play some weekends too and can let you know weeks in advance if I can't make it.
Hello! This sounds like so much fun! The idea of a game being more about creativity and role playing as opposed to magic and spells is so exciting, i would love to join. I'm from Texas so in CST i'm usually free after 6pm CST
It seems I'm among the interested party, my timezone is CST and I would be available Mondays, Tuesdays, and Fridays.
Hi, I know this is a bit late but I am interested in your campaign. I live in England and as such my time zone is UTC, and I am free all days barring tuesdays, monday evenings and sunday evenings.
