Game day! The party has just overrun a kobold checkpoint that threatened to kidnap High Ranger Spotfur (nice title). Unfortunately, you fear that the royal agent you are seeking may now be dead at the hands of the kobold sorcerer. During the session, the party learned several interesting secrets including: Esmerelda Agramonte has not trusted Abilene for awhile. She thinks Abilene has too much influence on Mistress Mirabel. Orc "berserkers" threaten travelers in the Endworld Mountains. Orc berserkers are not normal and orcs don't usually threaten travelers. Kobolds wear shaded goggles when working and fighting in sunlight. This overcomes their sunlight sensitivity. The kobolds believe that the orcs steal valuables from them to sell to New Galifar. This belief has been bolstered by several failed orc raids into kobold territory. The kobolds believe that the orcs are ultimately responsible for the theft of the pearl of power nicknamed Twitch's Prize. Ishtaca has resurfaced and is helping the kobolds hunt for Twitch's Prize. Ishtaca and the surviving kobolds now think a gnome magewright from Griffon Gulch was involved in the theft of Twitch's Prize. You did not meet any new NPCs but the ghost Ishtaca has returned. You fought a CR 3 kobold veteran and a CR 5 kobold sorcerer, not your normal kobolds wandslingers. This confirms that high CR kobolds exist on Eberron.
