Observant feat description for 5e is out-of-date.

it still reads 'You have a +5 bonus to your passive Wisdom (Perception) and Intelligence (Investigation) scores.' when it has been changed to a more clearer wording in new books and dndbeyond: 'You have a +5 bonus to your passive Wisdom (Perception) and passive Intelligence (Investigation) scores.'

Is this the actual verified wording in new print editions? D&DBeyond unfortunately doesn't count, and it is not in the official errata. I don't know the logistics of the licensing agreement between Roll20 and WotC, of course. The may be restricted in how they can make changes and updates.
Best I can find for it being official other than otherwise reliable sources, is this: https://twitter.com/jeremyecrawford/status/651506659097907200?lang=en In this tweet, one of the creators of the game answers a question referring directly to the feat wording which he does not correct in the least. There are some other tweets where the feat has been referenced this way as well in the replies in which he hasn't corrected them either. So everything points to this being the correct version of the feat and the one listed on Roll20 either being a misprint, non-finalized or simply misworded version.

The final decision is up to Roll20, but I strongly suspect that they have no room for interpretation, and are contractually obligated to follow a strict adherence to a specific text. For instance, there are areas of the SRD that disagree with the current rules, but no one is legally allowed to change the wording of the SRD*. In these cases, Roll20 must use the SRD as written. I have no idea what their official source is. Hopefully it is something that has been updated and which they can change on their end to match. *DnDBeyond has a much, much tighter integration with WotC, and seems to be able to update using a different standard than other licensees, such as Roll20 or FG. In this sense, they are closer to partners.
I think the OP is talking about the PHB; the Observant feat is not part of the SRD. The only feat in the SRD is Grappler.

Yes, I was using the SRD as an example of restriction by source. I know nothing about which text Roll20 must use for PHB updates.
I am just saying this is bad because it confuses people and changes the intended balance of the feat.
Joshua J, you should post this to this thread: https://app.roll20.net/forum/post/5392197/wizards-of-the-coast-bug-report-megathread and Roll20 can see if they can update the info.

True, we're just motivated users. Roll20 is the one to make the call, and the thread Rabulias linked is the one that is monitored by the Team Member who shepherds the Compendium content.
I went ahead and plopped this into the mega thread to make sure it doesn't get lost :)
