Spent hours deleting...

Honestly the state of the asset library is a freaking sham. I spent hours deleting image after image form my library and just nothing. What a joke. This makes my blood boil and want to blow my brains out all over my keyboard after I spend an hour locked in a room with a hungry tiger and a neckbeard DM who makes inappropriate remarks about my character. Seriously Roll20 for the sake of my sanity fix your freaking library!

When you say "nothing", do you mean that nothing is being deleted, or you are not seeing any significant reduction in your storage quota? If you are deleting images but they are not disappearing, make sure you are deleting from "Recent Uploads". From the wiki : When you upload an images, it is placed in a location in My Library called Recent Uploads. You can see the Recent Upload list at the bottom of My Library and will list the images chronologically from the most recently uploaded image to older. Every single piece of art remains in here even if you move them into a folder or subfolder. Organizing art into folders is only making a reference of the image. You can filter your view of Recent Uploads to hide any image that's already been organized into the folder tree by clicking on the icon beside the Recent Uploads heading that looks like two windows overlapping. To permanently delete an image from My Library, it must be deleted from Recent Uploads to actually clear it from your Storage Quota. Shows only unfiled images: Show all images in library (This is the one you want to see): The easiest way to delete multiple items is to use the Folder View . After you have filtered as above, click on any item in the Recent Uploads folder. this will open a pallet that allows you to make multiple selections and mass deletions. Deleting from the Recent Uploads folder will permanently delete all instances of an image, filed or not. They may still appear on the VTT for a while until you refresh your cache. Folder View: If you are deleting items and they are disappearing, but you are not seeing a significant drop in your storage report, make sure that the bulk of it is not being taken up by audio uploads.

There are 2 parts of the art library. There is "recent uploads" which is where everything is stored. Your art library with your custom made folders which are just for organization. You have to delete things in the "recent downloads" section to actually delete it. This is documented in the wiki: https://wiki.roll20.net/Art_Library#My_Library If you just click on one of the listings in recent downloads, it will bring up a folder view. Once there you can select multiple images (control + left click on my machine), the right click on one of them and select "delete selected". That is how I go about deleting multiple image files. Edit: And keithcurtis beat me to it!
So just to be clear to delete things I wouldn't follow the side notice that says click here to delete items to free up storage. No No No I would go into a game click on a random item to get to recent uploads and then start deleting. OH silly me what a fine process to delete items. Thank you all for releasing me from the unending nightmare that is the roll20 interface .

Barras G. said: So just to be clear to delete things I wouldn't follow the side notice that says click here to delete items to free up storage. . I don't know. The only thing I see like that is at the top of the folder view of "recent downloads". It isn't present when opening the folder view of any of my library folders. It is only present on recent downloads. I just went and checked. Edit in to show the top of one of my folders. Notice there is no scroll bar, so this is the actual top of the folder.

Can you screen shot the place where you are seeing the notice, Barras G? If it is in error, it should be reported. I assume it appears on your account page if you are over quota (I can't easily reproduce). Where exactly does it take you when you click the link?
