Quick question about subscription

Apologies if that has been asked many times and if that's not appropriate forum(couldn't find better one), but I couldn't find proper answer and I didn't see it in FAQ for sure. Our group is thinking about buying subscription to have dynamic fog of war and some other features. Will it be enough if one of our player buys the yearly subscription or does it have to dm or game owner?

Hello Torin and this is the perfect forum for you to ask that question in. The game's creator must be the subscriber for the features you mentioned to function in the game. You can purchase it monthly or yearly (cheaper if you go all in for the yearly).

It needs to be the creator of the game. But the creator can promote another player to be the DM of a given game.
Cool, so if we have existing game, most likely we would have to just recreate it? Unless there's a way to transfer ownership?

You can write to team@roll20.net and request a transfer. It's up to them. Note that placed art assets will likely still reside in the original owner's art library.
Cool, thank you for the answers, everything is clear now.
